On Oct. 18, 2013, Prof. Bo-Geng Li, director of the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering (Zhejiang University), led the delegation to visit SABIC Global R & D Center (Shanghai). The delegation includes Wen-Jun Wang, Hong Fan and etc. Dr. Yuxian An, director of SABIC Global R & D Center (Shanghai), received the delegation.

Dr. An introduced the creation, the corporate culture and the composition of SABIC global R & D Center (Shanghai). Dr. Guang Liu from Analysis and Testing Department gave a report on “from material to solution - Engineering Plastic and Sustainable Development”,detailed the functions andresearch directions of SABIC global R & D Center (Shanghai). Moreover, Dr. Kong Xin and Dr. Wei Feng introduced GApT department and SFS department briefly. Then, Prof. Li outlined the basic information,research contents and research directions of State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering (Zhejiang University). Prof. Wang gave an academic report on “polyolefin processing and product engineering”,detailed the team's fruitful results in olefin polymerization reaction engineering and functional polyolefin materials over the years. After that, heintroduced the 3^rd Hangzhou International Polymer Forum and invited business colleaguesto participate. Finally, Dr. An hoped that both sides could take this as the beginning of establishing friendly cooperation relations,and welcomed the graduate students to join SABIC.
